Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 June 2026

This page explains how Little Stops ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you use the app at littlestops.app. We are the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR.

What we collect

Legal basis

We process account, trip and content data on the basis of contract (to provide the service you asked for). We process usage analytics on the basis of consent (via the cookie banner) and legitimate interests in improving the app.

Who we share with

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies & analytics

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Google Maps may set its own cookies when the map loads.

If you accept on the cookie banner, we also load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-DPZVTGBV40) to collect anonymised usage statistics (pages viewed, broad device/region) with IP anonymisation enabled. We do not use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies.

You can change your choice anytime from your profile page.

How long we keep data

Account, trip and review data are kept until you delete your account. Search analytics are retained for up to 24 months.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile page.

For other requests, contact us at hello@littlestops.app.

Children

Little Stops is intended for parents and carers. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children. Children's names and ages added to a profile are stored against the parent's account and used only to tailor stop recommendations.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will notify you through the app or by email.
